How long does CACI last?
«CACI results can be maintained with regular treatments. If more than three months have passed since your last session, we recommend starting a new course to achieve optimal results.
What happens when you stop having CACI treatments?
«Think of it just like going to the gym for a body workout. In the same way, if you stop CACI treatments, the results will gradually diminish and your facial muscles may eventually return to how they were before treatments commenced.
Is a CACI facial painful?
«No, treatment is not painful but a slight tingling sensation can sometimes be felt. A firm pressure is required to lift & tone the facial muscles.
How often should I have a CACI facial?
«For best results a course is advisable. A course averages around 10-15 treatments, with a minimum of two treatments a week. Maintenance is then needed every 4-6 weeks.
Is there any reason not to have a CACI treatment?
«For your safety, this treatment isn’t recommended if you have certain medical conditions. Please let us know if any of the following apply to you:
Any form of cancer
Pregnancy
Epilepsy
Diabetes
Heart conditions or a cardiac pacemaker
Thrombosis
Facial implants (if we’re treating the face)
Skin diseases or lesions in the treatment area
Recent surgery (within the last six months)
If you’ve had anti-wrinkle injections in the area, please wait three months, and if you’ve had dermal fillers, wait two weeks before your CACI treatment.
Some medications, such as anti-depressants, high blood pressure medication, or muscle relaxants, can make the treatment less effective.
If you’re taking any medication or have a health condition not mentioned here, it’s always best to check with your doctor first.
Can I have CACI while pregnant?
«No, the treatment can not be performed if you are pregnant.
Will there be any recovery or downtime after my treatment?
«Not at all. The treatments are completely non-invasive and gentle on your skin, so you can carry on with your day as normal.
What is and what does microcurrent feel like?
«Microcurrent treatments are very gentle, most people barely feel a thing! You might notice a slight tingling or a gentle, energised warmth on your skin, but it’s completely comfortable and virtually painless.
The treatment works by sending tiny electrical impulses that mimic your body’s own natural bioelectrical signals. This gentle stimulation helps to “re-educate” the facial muscles, improving tone, lift, and firmness over time.
That’s why microcurrent therapy is often referred to as a “non-surgical facelift” or “facial toning” treatment, it helps define and lift your natural facial contours for a more refreshed, youthful look.
How long does it take to get the full efffects?
