JONATHAN HOLLAND - SALON OWNER AND CO-FOUNDER

As Co-founder of Muse Hair and Beauty Jon has been one of the pillars of the business for twenty years.

Jon has created a beautiful salon to make his clients feel pampered and special. But Jon’s dedication and success in hairdressing amounts to so much more, Jon has created a strong foundation for expertise and creativity in hairdressing. Jon uses his creative experimentation as a training ground to perfect every client’s hair, so every client leaves the salon feeling beautiful. Jon is a master in his field, there are no half measures with Jon, he is always 100% focused.

 

Additionally, Jon brings energy, passion and positivity to the salon environment. Jon has outstanding creative skills, and he is a perfectionist. Jon brings to the salon a very strong work ethic and a strong commitment in leading the salon onwards and upwards.

Furthermore, Jon represents ambition and determination, and a strong desire to motivate his team recognising that success within the salon is a result of quality training and management.  

Jon has a loyal customer base with many of his clients travelling many miles to see him.

MARTIN DOLLARD - SALON OWNER AND CO-FOUNDER

Now, if most of us were to compare ourselves to Martin we might feel a little dull. But that’s only in terms of his vision, creativity, and exceptional achievements. I am sure if you were to visit Martin and sample his services, he would make the most of what you’ve got, and you would leave the salon feeling fabulous. As Co-founder of Muse Hair and Beauty, Martin has been one of the pillars of the business for twenty years.

Martin is an expert hairdresser and very entertaining, he brings a smile to everyone’s face. 

He is an expert stylist with a natural flair for styling and creating fabulous results.

Martin is the first to spot new trends and techniques and bring them into the salon.

He is loved by his clients and the team alike, there is never a dull moment when Martin is around.

SHARRON GRAY

SHARRON GRAY - SALON DIRECTOR

Sharron has been working in the hairdressing industry for 34 years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the salon.

Sharron is an expert in her field, Sharron is a very creative, versatile hairdresser who specialises in cutting curly hair, textured haircuts, mid to long layered haircuts and combination colours.

She spends a lot of time studying the latest contemporary cutting techniques ensuring her haircuts are bang on trend but with the addition of her many years of experience to tailor these haircuts to the individual.

Sharron holds a Masters in colour and has a creative flare for bringing haircuts to life with incredible colouring skills.

Sharron was a finalist in a national category for the Men’s British Hairdresser of the Year.

Sharron has a long list of very dedicated and loyal clients.

NIKKI HOLLAND

NIKKI HOLLAND - CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND SALON EDUCATOR 

Nikki has worked at Muse Hair and Beauty for thirteen years. Nikki is incredibly talented in all aspects of hairdressing.

Nikki is one of our salon educators and during her seven years in this role Nikki has supported eight apprentices in fulfilling their dreams to qualify as a hairdresser.

As a Creative Director Nikki specialises in graduated bobs, wedding hair, pixie cuts and in-depth client consultations. Nikki is a perfectionist in everything she does from cutting and colouring to the most beautiful wedding hair creations that she makes look so effortless and natural. Nikki has a very calming demure and is an excellent choice for clients who may be feeling anxious.

CALISTA BARNETT

CALISTA BARNETT  - STYLIST

Having worked her way through the Muse Hair & Beauty Apprenticeship Programme, Calista is one of our many in-house trained stylists.

Calista specialises in big bouncy blow dries, highlights, and Kerastraight smoothing treatments. Calista works methodically and takes the time to listen to a client’s needs during a consultation.

Additionally, Calista is a perfect choice for those clients who feel nervous or anxious about stepping into a salon environment.

Having recently graduated through the Muse apprenticeship program and as an advanced apprentice, Will has perfected his skills.

Will specialises in big bouncy blow dries, colour placement and pixie cuts.

Will is very confident, enthusiastic, outgoing and guarantees a good conversation!

Meet our Salon Manager Helen Burrows who has worked at Muse for more than 17 years in a variety of roles.  During busy periods, you will often see Helen on reception as the welcoming face of our salon.  

What do you love about working at Muse? I love meeting people and helping our clients

Who inspires you to create fabulous hair? My family and colleagues inspire me to be the best I can be and work for the goals we have set ourselves.

What is your ultimate ambition? My ultimate ambition is to see my children settled and happy in their adult life and to travel the world.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Loyal, motivated and hard working

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others! My first date with my husband was a bungee jump.

HETTIE GRANTHAM - FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER As our Front of House Manager, Hettie is responsible for the whole Front of House Team. Hettie oversees the daily reception operations and performs a variety of administrative tasks.

With a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills, Hettie has settled into her new position with ease.
