Waxing Hair Removal At Muse Hair & Beauty Salon In Broadway Worcestershire
We offer hair removal for men and women using hot waxing to remove unwanted hairs from the face and body. Our beauticians at Muse Hair & Beauty Salon in Broadway are highly skilled and will always offer you a confidential and discreet service.
Waxing is an extremely effective way to remove unwanted body hair. It is quick and relatively painless, removing the hair and follicle to give you a smooth hairless body for 4-6 weeks.
It is much easier to remove short and stubborn hairs with hot wax rather than warm wax. This also makes it more comfortable when removing hairs for a Bikini Wax.
You can rest assured that our beauty therapists are professional and highly trained when it comes to hair removal. We offer waxing for the legs, brows, bikini line, lip, chin, underarm, back and male waxing of the back and chest. If there are any particular areas you would like treated, simply talk to our Reception team before you book to see if we can accommodate you.
Most people see minimal regrowth in around three weeks and return for repeat waxing treatments between four to six weeks after their initial treatment.

Is waxing painful?
«Since waxing removes hair from the root, you’ll likely feel more discomfort than you would with shaving. That said, everyone’s pain tolerance is different, what feels intense for one person might barely register for another.
How much it hurts can also depend on the area being treated, your personal sensitivity, and even your menstrual cycle. For instance, the bikini area is typically more sensitive than the arms or legs, and some people find they’re a bit more tender in the days leading up to their period.
The good news? The more regularly you wax, the easier it gets, hair grows back finer, and your skin becomes used to the process.
Is it ok to talk to my therapist during the service?
«Yes of course! We love chatting to our clients.
Unless we’re doing a lip wax, we may need you to stop talking briefly while we treat that area.
What if I feel uncomfortable or want to stop the treatment?
«We know that first-time appointments can come with a few nerves, so we focus on creating a welcoming, peaceful experience from the moment you walk in. You’ll be greeted by a friendly team member and shown to a private room where you can speak freely and get comfortable.
Before the waxing begins, we’ll check in with you about any sensitivities or concerns and walk you through the process, so nothing feels unexpected.
My skin is red after my wax - is this normal?
«So, you’ve just had a wax, and now your skin is feeling a little… different. Maybe it’s a little red, a little tender, or just more sensitive than usual. Don’t stress! This is totally normal, especially for first-timers or those with more sensitive skin.
Your therapist will advise you on aftercare after your treatment.
Is the first time waxing the worst?
«Your first wax might feel a little more uncomfortable, but don’t worry - it gets much easier! With regular treatments, the hair grows back finer and the process becomes far less painful over time.
Is there any reason not to have this treatment?
«Yes there are certain medical conditions and skin conditions that can prevent you from having a waxing treatment. Your therapist will carry out a thorough consultation with you prior to your treatment to check for any contraindications. If you have any concerns before booking a treatment, please ask to speak to a therapist who can advise you.
Can I have this treatment when pregnant?
«Yes, waxing is safe during pregnancy, but there may be a few factors to consider.
We become more sensitive during pregnancy so a patch test may be recommended first. Also, hormones may make the hair grow back quicker than normal.
